As we approach the end of 2025, it is important for Tenders ACT users to factor in the following end-of-year and new year shutdown dates for Tenders ACT and the Procurement ACT Service Desk.

If you have any questions regarding a tender during this period, please ensure they are submitted as early as possible. Responses may take longer due to an increase in staff leave over the holiday period.

Tenders ACT users are reminded of the following:

• Tender closures occur on Tuesdays and Thursdays at 2:00 PM (unless otherwise advertised).
• If a tender closes at 2:00pm Canberra Time, that means 2:00:00pm exactly—even a second late is considered late.
• Plan to submit your tender documents at least 24 hours prior to the close time.
• Allow extra time for slow internet, connection issues, large file upload times, renaming and/or removal of unapproved characters in file names. For more information, please visit the Electronic Submission information page.
• Review your submission receipt to make sure all documents are lodged and keep it as proof of lodgement.
• If an error occurs whilst a submission is in progress, please contact the Tenders ACT team immediately. The Territory will implement specific policies and procedures to address exceptional circumstances and events.
